It Does Take a Genius

“iPhone 5 pre-orders have shattered the previous record held by iPhone 4S and the customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “iPhone 5 is the best iPhone yet, the most beautiful product we’ve ever made, and we hope customers love it as much as we do.”

People don’t buy iPhone because of features, it is really genius how Apple engineers culture here. And what does Samsung do in response to the most successful phone, without one iPhone5 sold? A feature comparison:

Pictures in the Huffington Post with funny responses:

The ad, which ran in select newspapers over the weekend, lists some of the iPhone 5’s most talked-about features: the 4-inch screen, 4G LTE connectivity, screen resolution, battery life and more. Next to these are listed the Galaxy S3’s features: taller screen, 4G LTE connectivity, higher screen resolution, longer battery life, etc.

Samsung wasn’t the only one whining about Apple’s succes. Nokia joined the forces via Twitter:

Lumia 920: Wireless charging, amazing camera, screen you can use with gloves on and much more. No, it doesn’t take a genius. #switchtolumia

Unbelievable, considering that Nokia can’ t even give a release date for their Lumia 920.

Come on, even for non Apple fanboys, these are simple facts. And the most amazing fact is yet to come: sales figures!
