Blank Screen on ChromeOS

I might have had my second real crash on ChromeOS tonight. The first one, half a year ago, needed the power-manager to be reset, which is done by inserting a pin in the center hole on the bottom of my Samsung series 5.

Today, my screen blanked during browsing, typing an email in Gmail. The system got unresponsive, so the only option was to push the power-button for ten seconds. Powering it on gave me the Chrome logo and then the same blank screen where the login options should have been.

Changing to dev didn’t seem to be a viable option so I chose to restore the system from USB. The thing is back and the good thing of working in the cloud is that everything else is also back. But this is not funny and does cost time though. I still don’t know what went wrong.
