Google+ was launched 2 years ago to fix online sharing. “We’d like to bring the nuance and richness of real-life sharing to software. We want to make Google better by including you, your relationships, and your interests. And so begins the Google+ project,” announced Google.
I was in the second wave to join Google+. I was not one of the invited people, but joined immediately after that. I went for Google+ 100 percent. But after half a year of really trying it was ghost town for me, running around in small circles. Two years later I still have the same feeling. Although Google is really trying to push grow it’s userbase, my feeling about the platform has not changed since. And I really check once in a while.
To me, there are better candidates to kill than Google Reader, because I am not convinced that Google+ has more active users than Reader had.
